I do think of strategy as a plan.. so could you say it’s to identify opportunities that align with an organizations’ desired market position? Or do you see market strategy as the step that helps you identify what position you should take?
i.e. looking at the Growth Strategy matrix, would you say market strategy helps you identify which quadrant you should focus on, or rather identify opportunities once you’ve selected the quadrant?
